I come away from these videos with changed perspectives on both players.

I am more impressed with Walton now. He is a sturdy built kid despite not being ideal sized. He is not a scat back. He runs well between the tackles. He brings a good skill set. Good vision and runs smart. Does not go down easy. I like that he gets his shoulders square and gets up field. So many kids his size are trying to get to the edge. He is not particularly quick.

Surdivant is a run and hit guy. He brings it. I am concerned that he is a little stiff to play outside. I see an inside guy but I am concerned about his frame. I don't know if he can add the kind of weight that it takes to play inside in the Big Ten.

I don't see either as Big Four early offers right now.

Love to get a stopwatch on that kid. Not just fast but explosive. Look how quickly he gets up to top speed. I don't think he is 5-10 or 175 but he has serious skills. Great hands. I don't see a college back but with the hands he has I doubt moving out to the slot is going to be a problem. He shows he can run a pattern in this film. I would like to see him play some corner. I will be watching him.
