Through our partnership with Lexco44, here is his latest video looking at the Buckeyes big win against Penn State. Great way to get you excited for Iowa.

I think there is an argument for Jim Bollman never having had the opportunity to prove himself as an offensive line coach. I know that shocks you coming from me but there are some things going on right now that give some weight to that argument.

It has been my contention from the point that I lost faith in Bollman a few years ago that lack of numbers and moving players all over the place has been at the core of what is wrong. Offensive lineman have the lowest success rate with the exception of quarterback. You need to keep the numbers up. I would like to have 20 in the program at all times, 16-18 scholarship players and be very aggressive in the walk-on program. Get a couple of contributors out of that underappreciated and at times underutilized area of any football no comments

I want Buckeye fans to step back and take a deep breath. Get off the ledge. There is plenty of chatter out there that Josh Shaw will pick Florida before the month is out. He has been talking about Florida since his visit and is now going back. It looks like a just to make sure visit. We didn't get a just to make sure visit. I have not heard anything one way or the other from my own sources so I cannot confirm or deny. I am resigned to it. I was never really convinced but it was USC that I was afraid of. A California kid turning down USC to come to Ohio State was something I had a hard time wrapping my mind around. Calm down. Everything is going to be alright.

You have to like where we are with Joyner now. Who would you rather have, Joyner or Shaw, is a a question that you will get different answers to depending on who you ask. I like no comments

I have watched the Penn State game again. Not the entire game. Just the defense. I wanted to watch Cam Heywards performance one more time. I will say that his performance in this game was better than Gohlston versus Michigan because of the across the board domination. He lined up at both end spots and at tackle. He played as well versus the pass as Gohlston did but much better against the run. I can't remember a better performance by a Buckeye lineman. I know there have been alot of games between now and when Big Daddy destroyed Washington in a nationally televised night game but off the top of my head that is the last time I can come up with a performance to match Heyward on Saturday.

His time at tackle is what stands out. It is going to be remembered by NFL people. He can play the weakside pretty well at the college level but it is as strong side, whether base or no comments

I want to see a show of hands. How many Buckeye fans wives, or husbands, I know there are some lady Buckeye wackos out there, who believe their spouse might kill them before the season is over?

I know all of you are as fired up as I am. A tumultuous season. Many of us tired of seeing the same old thing continue to cost us. Now we hit the high of highs. We beat a major rival, a legendary program led by a legendary coach, and we do it in their joint. Not only did we beat them, we dominated them. My wife avoids me on football Saturdays. I was as excited as the dogs when she came home Saturday evening. I swear I think she likes me better when things are not going well. I have not calmed down. She is not amused. We win out, something that is highly likely, and go to the Rose Bowl. Who woulda thunk it? What brought us to this state?

Several things but maturity is right at the top of the list. I think the coaching staff has no comments

The best coached game of the year. It looked like the staff had Penn States signals as well as their playbook. I was talking to a coach friend. He called Heacock the player of the game. I would say the entire coaching staff because we had variety on offense. We ran some counter and some reverses. Saine is always a threat on counters. He is not a guy with great vision. He is not looking backside. The counter is a backside play by design. Punting on the first quarter series where we drove inside the Penn State 30 was not conservative. It was smart. You don't want your backup kicker taking that near 50 yard kick, especially after his suspect performance last week. Third and 15 tight end screen on the field goal drive was, but that is Tresselball and in this kind of game it is hard to beat Tresselball. We are on the verge of offensive change but in games like this Jim Tressel taking over the headset is a really good thing for us. I have been calling for more smashmouth. I thought the line was ready for it. We no comments

I do not feel good about this game. I think we have a decent shot but we have to be better than we have been recently. Consistency is an issue, not just for Pryor but overall. I think fans are getting too excited about having Larimore back. Being back and being healthy are two different things. He has been off for so long I can't imagine he is going to step in and play at the same level he was when he went down. A tackle pushing the pocket back is as important to the pass rush as the ends coming off the edges.

Keys to victory:

- We have to protect Pryor. Penn State is 4th in the nation in sacks. We have been vulnerable. I am very worried about left tackle. I argued for years with fans that Alex Boone was a solid tackle. Now we are seeing that he was. More Miller is a good thing. Cordle is lost out there.

- We have to get to Clark. He has yet to be good in a big game but recently he looks no comments

Have you thought about the situation with Seantrell Henderson from the coaching standpoint? Bollman will not be his coach. Does he know that? Is Bollman being his coach part of the decision, or does Bollman not being the offensive line coach have something to do with his interest in Ohio State? By the way, I know there is a story out there that people who know Henderson think he is leaning toward USC and point to his visiting Notre Dame and Ohio State for USC games as the reason they say that. What??? You are a person who knows Henderson but his visit schedule is how you figure out where he is leaning? When was he going to visit either school other than for the USC game??? Ridiculous. Dismiss that report. He may indeed pick USC but there "people who know Henderson" are anything but.

I don't know if you saw this but Mickey Andrews will not be back as DC at Florida State. Ask yourself this question. If your son, nephew, any kid that is coming to you for advice, no comments

We are about to hit the stretch run of the season and it is going to be wall to wall Buckeye football. There are a couple of other football related topics that I want to discuss with you.

I think the biggest problem the Browns have is Randy Lerner. He is making bad decisions on coaches then dumping them before they can fix what is wrong. 4 coaches in 10 years? Are you kidding me??? How are you supposed to build something when he pulls the plug before anything gets going? Look at the coaches he has hired after they left the Browns. The only one that has had any success since leaving is Davis. Palmer was next an OC, fired, then has been in several jobs as a position coach. Crennell was never more than a position coach before he became the Browns DC then head coach. He is not in football right now from what I can tell. He gets rid of Crennell and brings in a guy that wore out his welcome in three short years in Eric Mangini. It has been proven that when organizations can't turn themselves around it goes back to bad management from the top down. Lerner is making bad decisions. Everyone knows that I am a Steeler fan. My Dad was a Browns fan. My closest friends are season ticker holders. I have no hate in my heart for the Browns. I do have hate in my heart for the state of the franchise. There is nothing to build on. How many current players would you keep if it was possible to sweep the lot out? What a mess. Lerner wants to fix what is wrong? Sell the team to someone that knows what they are doing.

I am always amazed at how Buckeye fans treat Kirk Herbstreit. I looked up his bio on ESPN. I was surprised. Based on what I hear from too many Buckeye fans, I expected to s no comments

This is a subject we keep returning to. Tight end recruiting. It drives fans nuts.

Jim S. said this is a recent thread:

"...

Who is the tight end that UC beat OSU out for? The only one I can think of that OSU had any interest in whatsoever is Alex Smith but that doesn't count of course because OSU never offered him. "

We did not offer him because we knew he was not going to change his mind. It is a player choosing Cincinnati over Ohio State. An instate player choosing Cincinnati over Ohio State. That is a precedent that you want to avoid if at all possible. Matt James may make it a moot point but you have to offer a lineman of that caliber. You have to take the shot. With a tight end you don't have to do that. Not here. Fans get so worked up over the lack of the tight end in the offense. Recruiting doesn't have anything to do with it. That is why I am coming back to
