I am walking around with a smile on my face. I am being nice. My wife calls me a curmudgeon. So me walking around with a smile on my face and being nice is unusual. That is what a boatload of bigs will do for a guy like me. This thing the staff is doing is something I have been calling for. We need to get the numbers up.

What I really love is seeing the versatility of some of the commits and offered players. This is what JT is talking about when he refers to them simply as "bigs". Aundray Walker and Chris Carter are guards. I don't see Steve Miller as anything but a weak side end. Antonio Underwood could be a defensive tackle. He is explosive off the snap and has a motor. He is so athletic that if he were longer I would project him as a tackle on offense. I would give him a look as defensive tackles are much more important than guards. Even if he does not get a look there, guard is a major need, you still have a player who could project to defensive tackle if needed. That is a nice hole card. Farris is the ideal prospect for what JT envisions. He is a player who could project to three positions, and he is not going to complain about being moved. Forget about a player growing into another position. You can just move him based on need. Show him where defensive tackles are drafted and the kind of money he can make. The same with left tackle. The prestige and money that come with a being an elite NFL left tackle is going to make it easy just to ask him to move. Michael Bennett will be a great DT. I think he is a great player. Mark Porter has him #1 in the state. That is huge for this class. It is so deep, being #1 says something. If he is not a great DT then he will surely be a great guard. This staff likes to move players around. Nowhere do we see that more than with offensive linemen.
