As I look over the roster this morning any number of questions jumped into my mind. I want to throw them out to you. I will state the facts. I want to get your answers.
Does Jim Cordle return as the starter when he comes back from injury? JT has always maintained that no player loses his job due to injury. The line has been better in recent weeks. Shugarts and Hall have had their problems but that is due to lack of experience. Cordle did not convince me that his move to tackle was a good thing. The other question is, is the line better because of the improved play calling with Hazel more involved.
Did Jake Stoneburner make a mistake? That is a loaded question. It could be that he made a bad decision to go along with the move to tight end. It could be the decision to come to a pass catching tight end offense knowing the odds he could grow into a tight end were good.
Is Berry ready to play? I am not talking about the injury. Hamstrings are rest intensive injuries. Is he sharp? Is his timing there? Is he "feeling it"?
Did Jermil Martin get dealt a bad hand? He came here as a FB on a late emergency need offer. We had depth problems and moved him to RB. Then we offered 2 more FBs, both now playing as true freshmen, and moved at least one of the incoming freshman RBs ahead of him.
Can Thomas, Washington and Schwartz hold off Chris Fields, James Jackson and James Louis next year for the second slot spot?
Will Nate Oliver and Rocky Pentello be able to hold off the treasure trove of incoming freshman at safety that it looks like the Buckeyes are about to land?
Where is the much ballyhooed Travis Howard?
Now that he has thrown off the injury bug is Donnie Evege ready to push for playing time?
